Do you actually know how to spell properly, or is 'text speak' the only language you're proficient in now?  Are you planning to use this kind of spelling for job applications and other important documents, and if you are, do you honestly think that you'll get hired? 

You do know that this blog is out there for the whole world to read, crappy spelling and all, right?  And you're comfortable with the entire world thinking 'my god, that Louby girl has horrible spelling.  She must be as thick as two short planks'?   That's what I thought, and if I thought it, I can guarantee that there are a few hundred (perhaps thousands, or even hundreds of thousands) of people who think the same thing. 

I wouldn't want people to think that about me.  That's why I make an effort to at least TRY to write and spell properly.

I think this is done on purpose. Sometimes you feel like ranting to the world, yet you feel like holding back? It amazes me when my friends can type like that, but I find it harder to try to think of those short forms.

But hey, Louby, maybe she didn't want to tell you she had changed her mind about helping you because she's afraid you might be get mad at her. Besides, after the way she treated Andy, I'm sure you can't be surprised by her actions.
